Thu 03 Jul, 06:45 PM

Bristol Rovers have added to their attacking options by completing a double swoop for strikers Ben Hunt and Darryl Duffy.Hunt arrives fresh from West Ham's academy while Duffy will be familiar to all Pirates fans having being linked with a switch for several weeks.

The 25-year-old joins from Swansea for around £100,000 and is looking forward to boosting his chances of playing regular first-team football having racked up just 12 league starts last term.

"The biggest factor in my move was that I just wanted to play football. I'm not interested in sitting in the stands, and with the size of the squad at Swansea there were as many as 12 or 13 players sitting up there on a matchday," he told the club's official website.

"I think coming here is something I had to do to stand a chance of playing first-team football on a regular basis. Hopefully, if I do well enough, I can do that here."

Youngsters Ben Swallow, James Tyrell and Joe White have also signed professional contracts with the League One outfit.
