James Beattie has warned returning team-mate Gary Naysmith to expect a tough start to his pre-season training.Blades defender Naysmith had an extra week's rest after being on international duty with Scotland this summer.

Naysmith told the club's official website: "Hopefully I'll be able to catch up quickly, but won't know until I get down to it with the rest of the squad.

"I've spoken to James Beattie and he said the first week had been hard and if says it is then it must have been."

The left-back added: "You tend to feel a bit guilty about not starting pre-season with the rest of the lads and having an extra week off, but I had a game with Scotland at the end of May, three weeks after the lads finished."
