Former Wales defender Robert Page has been appointed as Chesterfield's new captain for the forthcoming League Two campaign.The 33-year-old, who was manager Lee Richardson's first major signing this summer, captained his country as well as his former clubs Watford, Sheffield United, Coventry and most recently Huddersfield.

"I think Rob has all the attributes to lead the team. He has great experience and has already been captain at the highest level," said Richardson.
