Sun 15 Jun, 05:45 PM

Huddersfield chairman Dean Hoyle has labelled their Carling Cup first round clash with Bradford as "fantastic".The Terriers have been knocked out in the first round for the last two seasons, but have won three out of their last four encounters with the Bantams.

Hoyle told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner: "We're all looking forward to finding out who we play in the first few league games, and the prospect of a cup clash with Bradford is fantastic.

"We couldn't really have asked for a better draw, and I'm looking forward to a great game in front of a big crowd.

"They will bring a good following, and I'm sure our fans will turn out in force.

The West Yorkshire rivals will meet each other at the Galpharm Stadium the week beginning August 11.
