Notts County boss Ian McParland believes the facilities his side have experienced in their Austrian training camp will help them this season. The Magpies have spent a week at the highly-regarded National Sports Centre in Obertraun and McParland believes the players are fortunate to have had the chance to train at a facility where the likes of Chelsea's academy, Motherwell and Plymouth have also trained.
"Footballers don't know how lucky they are, to come out here," he told the club's official website.
"It is fantastic. The facilities, the scenery and everything about the place is first class.
"I really do appreciate that we were able to send the players out here, and they appreciate it because they are delighted to be here.
"There aren't many teams that would be able to do it in our division, and while it doesn't guarantee us winning games it gives us great preparation."
