Colchester United have added a friendly against Luton Town to their pre-season programme ahead of next season.Geraint Williams will take his side to Kenilworth Road to face the Hatters, who were relegated to League Two this season, on Tuesday July 29.

The clash comes three days after a trip to Dagenham and four days before the Us' final pre-season encounter, at East Anglia rivals Norwich.

With work on the new Community Stadium continuing towards the start of next season, all Colchester's friendlies will be on the road this summer.

"I'm delighted to have our pre-season schedule completed already and with us not being able to hold any home games, I'm pleased with the strength of the opposition we have secured, culminating in visits to Luton and Norwich," said Williams.
