Lewis may well have said each of his races were the best so far, and here is why:
1. first race of the season - win under pressure
2. Monaco - to many it is worth half a season
3. Silverstone in the wet - a Sennaesque donnington performance - 4 place climb - 6 seconds a lap faster
4. Germany - dominant all weekend - made up for a team error by racing from 5th with 16/17 laps to go to first
Each win does get better and better as Lewis is showing us a true growing repetoire of skills.
Whenever he is being asked questions he is delivering.
Yes he has done a couple of mad things this season - didn't Schumacher and Senna - it was what they did afterwards that counted.
I am a big fan of both Raikonnen, and Schumacher before him - so I don't have an anti ferrari bias.
I have seen Senna and Schumacher at their best, and at their stages in their careers they were not as good as Lewis - fair enough Senna had some naff cars as did schumacher, but his perforamnce in the rain had little to do with the rain, nor did it in Monaco.
I just wish the British recoginse a winner. Winners are often aloof, or brash - we can't all be Tiger Woods - but let's celebrate what we have.

when i made the comment about the constructors league all i was trying to point out is that its not dominated by mclaren ie mclaren and ferrari are evenly matched, i feel that even if hamilton was in a ferrari he'd still be top of the championship in my opinion

lewis earns the right to speak to the world every time he wins a place on the podium. his podium position is not voted for by the public so he and only he has the right to say what i wishes and whatever he says is the right thing. lewis is in his second season and is driving better than he did last year. he will continue to driver better each race and nothing people write will influence his performance, only his ability will. in my opinion, lewis is the best f1 driver ever. what he has achieved so far has been achieved by no other great. i think a dominant car always yield a 1 2 finish and so far only a ferrari has managed that. lewis has introduced a new dimension to f1.

How so many english people can be able to denigrate Lewis Hamilton ?
It's unbelievable. You should be proud of your champion. This guy, Lewis, is absolutely fabulous.
Us, in France we have Sébastien Bourdais, of course he is french but not a champion and especially not a very good driver.
So we can accept that we're not fans.
Lewis Hamilton is an excellent pilote, he is such a brilliant driver.
Lewis keep on going and as you said don't forget the 3 C !

I agree with many of your other post but you miss the point that Both Ferrari and BMW have finished in the points together more often that Mclaren. Don't forget Lewis did'nt score anything fo 2 races & I'm afraid Heikki is currently wasting the Mclaren so he finishes well down the field relative to his team mate wining recently. I still think both championships will go down to the wire becuase Ferrari simple have to do better for the rest of the season or face major embarassment and though heidfeld is doing a sterling job looks BMW is starting to fade again.
Given the choice of Drivers champion or Constructors champion I know which one even Mclaren would prefer..

Let me start by saying "beegees" is an idiot. There is no place in this world for racist "A" holes like you. For the record, I am white.

Secondly, I am a Ferrari fan, always have been. However, I am also a racing fan, and I am truly impressed with Lewis Hamilton right now. Every driver in F1 is a great driver. You don't make it to F1 unless you can really drive. In order to win, you obviously need a great car, but you also must be able to get the most out of that car. This is where Schumacher was so good. He was a genius at setting up his car. I don't necessarily think that the McLaren car is better than Ferrari's, but it seems that Lewis is better at setting up his car than Kimi, Felipe, and Heiki. Also, Lewis is really hungry for the title, and it shows in his performance.

Don't count Ferrari out quite yet. Massa is useless, but if Kimi ever gets his act together, we should have an exciting end to the season. Congrats to Lewis and McLaren. May the best car/driver win!
