Winger Darren Smith insists Motherwell are determined to put on a show in Thursday night's SPL game against Hibernian at Easter Road.Well have already qualified for the UEFA Cup by finishing third in the Scottish Premier League.
And the game has been thoroughly overshadowed by the Old Firm title deciders at Tannadice and Pittodrie.
But Motherwell showed on Saturday by coming back to draw with Rangers they are still motivated.
And Smith believes their self respect as footballers will not allow them to let their standards slip at Easter Road.
"We have professional pride," the 20-year-old said. "We have pride in what we do.
"We want to win as many games as possible and want to give the fans and ourselves a big lift at the end of the season by going out with a victory.
"It is the last game of the season and we want to put on a show.
"I'm sure Hibs will be the same as it is their last home game."
The game has been overshadowed this week by rumours linking manager Mark McGhee with an imminent move to Hearts, who have been seeking a new manager since January.
McGhee has confirmed there is interest in him from other clubs but said he had no concrete offers on the table.
And chairman John Boyle dismissed suggestions McGhee was set to move after one season in charge.
"I had dinner with Mark the other night and, if he's leaving, he never mentioned it to me," Boyle told BBC Scotland.
"Hearts have made no approach and I'm pretty confident of keeping Mark for next season."
McGhee could make changes with teenage striker Jamie Murphy pushing for his first start.
On-loan West Brom goalkeeper Luke Daniels is also poised to take over between the posts.
