Oldham assistant boss Tommy Wright is delighted with the club's activity in the transfer market so far and is looking forward to more deals. The Latics snapped up Manchester United midfielder Kieran Lee and Gretna goalkeeper Greg Fleming on Wednesday and Wright believes both will be good additions to the squad.
"Coming from Manchester United, Kieran is obviously a good footballer," he told the club's official website. "The good thing about him is he can play in a few different positions so I think he will be a good member of the squad.
"We struggled this season with injuries but next season we are looking to have a much bigger squad so if circumstances arise with injuries and suspension we are covered.
"Greg's deal is a bit of a coup. We have been interested in him for a while and, having watched him and spoken to people who know him, I think he's got a bright future ahead of him."
