Hearts have denied reports that they in talks with Uganda coach Jackson Mayanja about bringing him to Tynecastle as assistant boss.New manager Csaba Laszlo was reportedly hoping to bring in Mayanja as his number two.

However, a club statement has now refuted those suggestions.

A spokesperson said: "There have been no talks between officials at Hearts and Jackson Mayanja despite some media reports to the contrary."
