Lee Richardson hopes former Chesterfield striker Caleb Folan will play some part for Hull when they visit Saltergate for a friendly.Folan's four-year stay at Chesterfield ended when Wigan paid £500,000 for him in January 2007. Eight months later Folan signed for Hull in a deal worth £1million.
The Tigers will provide the second pre-season opposition for Richardson's side on Tuesday evening following the weekend defeat at Gainsborough.
"I hope Hull will send a strong team and I hope we will see Caleb Folan as he is part of their squad," said Richardson.
"I have not spoken to (Hull manager) Phil Brown about his selection but I fully expect him to bring a good strength side."
