Caldwell Wants To Be A Bhoy For Life

Tue 22 Jul, 09:09 AM

Scotland international defender Gary Caldwell says it would be "great" if he could end his career at Celtic.

The 25-year-old has just started the last season of his current three-year deal at Parkhead but would love to extend his contract.

He is aware, though, that his future is in the club's hands.

He told the Daily Record: "If I was to stay at Celtic all of my professional life, I would think that was great.

"The situation is out of my control and it's up to other people to decide, but I don't want to be anywhere else.

"I'm with a club that is huge in European and even world terms. I love working with the manager and I'd like to think we can have more of the success the club has enjoyed the last two years."

  1. references to the ibrox disaster isnt cool man, and im a celtic man.

i agree with you on the signings however sno does have talent or else he wouldnt be in the holland squad, i think he has a bunch of potential but isnt just there yet.

i think strachan should really give players like brown and riordan a chance over the utility players he currently plays, riordan would do a better striker job than killen and brown better than donati, yet both of these players get on before the young talent

  2. Strachan has signed and wasted our money on sh*te!!! - he needs to follow the likes of Donati, Snow, Hesselink, Killen etc out the door.

Have we been really playing the Celtic way over the last couple of seasons???? - NO!!!

Never mind 4 in a row.....lets create another ibrox disater and make it 10!!!!

  3. Why are we still playing Donati? Why are we still paying Bobbo Balde £30,000 per week for sitting on his arse? Where are the quality signings we were promised at the close of the season? Why is Tommy Gravesen still clinging on at CP? If Caldwell wants to stay at CP he needs to improve drastically! AS does the £4.5 million Scott Brown
