Wigan hooker Michael McIlorum has been handed a two-match ban as a result of his dismisal for a reckless high tackle in the Warriors' 46-12 defeat by St Helens last Friday.
McIlorum was sent off just five minutes into the game at the JJB Stadium for a tackle on Great Britain winger Ade Gardner.
He was found guilty of the grade C offence when he appeared in front of the League's disciplinary committee and also fined £300.
McIlorum will miss Wigan's re-arranged home game against Huddersfield on Friday and next week's clash with Hull at the JJB Stadium.
Full-back Richards Mathers, who was cited for alleged striking in the match against St Helens, was found not guilty.
