MK Dons boss Paul Ince believes that the number of tickets sold for Sunday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final proves the ambition of the club.The Dons will be backed by over 30,000 supporters at Wembley against Grimsby and Ince believes that the future is bright at stadium:mk.
He said: "It is a great achievement to get to the final, not just for myself but for the players, the chairman and the whole club.
"We didn't have the easiest route to get there. We had to beat Gillingham, Peterborough and Swansea and that shows what we have achieved.
"The number of fans we are taking just shows you how much Milton Keynes as a city is growing and is getting behind us.
"We average about eight or nine thousand here every Saturday and we want to go places. Going to Wembley puts us on the map and we could have sold even more tickets if they were available."
