Scunthorpe defender Andy Butler has decided to leave the club after their relegation from the Championship.The 24-year-old has spent six years at Glanford Park but despite the offer of a new contract has decided to sever his ties with the Iron.

He told the club's official website: "I've decided to leave as it's the best move for me and my family now.

"It's gutting to leave as this is like a second home to me but it's the right time to go."
