Manchester United and Chelsea have two players apiece in the Portugal squad to play World Cup-winners Italy in a friendly on February 6.

The champions' attacking midfielders Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani are involved, as are Chelsea defenders Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira.

Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari's 20-man squad contains few surprises and Portugal should be close to full strength for the friendly, which forms an important part of their Euro 2008 preparations.

Portugal have been drawn in a group with co-hosts Switzerland, Czech Republic and Turkey, while Italy are in the 'group of death' with France, Netherlands and Romania.
