Live Commentary

  1. - Join us tomorrow for LIVE coverage of all three races from Brno - 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP!

  2. - Wet, nasty, horrible. A dreadful qualifying session but another pole position for the imperious Casey Stoner.

  3. 0' Stoner has not one but two big moments as the session winds down! He's still putting absolutely everything into this.

  4. 3' Hats off to Casey Stoner for setting his best lap early on before the rain worsened. He will certainly be on pole.

  5. 8' Rossi is on a flyer, but is already 10 seconds off the pace at the third split.

  6. 19' If anything the conditions are worsening - absolutely dreadful stuff here and that Stoner time from earlier continues to stand. Rossi is back out with a 'raincoat' on.

  7. 25' Toseland is down!! James Toseland falls in a vain attempt to extract some performance from his Yamaha. He is fine but looks a picture of dejection!

  8. 26' Bridgestone have eight of the first nine riders - Randy De Puniet the only interloper in sixth. At the moment, James Toseland and Jorge Lorenzo are outside the 107% mark...

  9. 30' We reach the halfway point of the session with the Bridgestone runners completely dominant. The Michelin-shod likes of Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Toseland really struggling.

  10. 38' West goes off and also has to dump his bike. Again, he's fine but it just illustrates how tough these conditions are.

  11. 40' Rossi makes his move, going into second. This is a nightmare for the teams, with nobody seemingly knowing which way the weather will go.

  12. 49' Oooohhhh.... Loris Capirossi locks up and goes onto the gravel. He's heading for the wall and has to drop it. He is unhurt but that was a scary moment.

  13. 53' Casey Stoner has the fastest time - no surprises there. But his 2:12.726 will surely be beaten with the weather looking like it is easing off.

  14. 60' Welcome to LIVE coverage of MotoGP qualifying from Brno! It is a wet day in the Czech Republic, which should make for a fascinating hour.
