Bundesliga - Diego: Wolfsburg move was right choice
Wolfsburg playmaker Diego believes his decision to leave Juventus for the Bundesliga club was the right one, despite the club's poor form this season.
The former Werder Bremen player returned to Germany just one year after Juventus signed him for £21 million.
His time in Turin was unsuccessful, with Juve endured a disappointing campaign under former manager Ciro Ferrara.
The Bianconeri are enjoying a resurgence under current boss Luigi Delneri, while 2009 Bundesliga champions Wolfsburg are languishing in 13th place with just four league wins so far this term.
Despite their underwhelming campaign under manager Steve McClaren, Brazil international Diego is adamant he made the right choice.
He told German newspaper Bild: "If I had to go back to that moment in time, I would make the decision to go to Wolfsburg 10,000 times over again.
"We have a very good team with great personality and we shouldn't be down in 13th in the Bundesliga.
