Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had a Mario Balotelli moment during the Premier League clash with Fulham after repeatedly trying and failing to get his hand in his pocket.

In a famous clip last year Balotelli struggled with the seemingly simple task of putting on a training bib during a warm-up session ahead of Manchester City’s Europa League game against Dynamo Kiev.

And towards the end of the first half at Craven Cottage Wenger had a similar problem, trying to put his right hand in his coat pocket five times before turning away from the field of play defeated.

The amusing clip has quickly become a talking point on Twitter, with some comparing Wenger's failure to reach into his pocket with the club's reputation for being frugal in the transfer market.

To complete Wenger’s embarrassment, Fulham found late goals to turn a defeat into a 2-1 victory and leave the Arsenal manager fuming at the performance of referee Lee Probert.

Is Wenger’s pocket fail the funniest off the field moment of the 2011/12 Premier League season so far? Leave a comment and let us know!
