Olympic ski cross champion Michael Schmid continued his golden form into the resumption of the World Cup as he claimed his third victory of the season in Branas, Sweden.
After qualifying fastest, the 25-year old cruised through to the final of the knockout competition before streaming to gold in the final.
Canada's Christopher Delbosco finished second in the final with Austria's Andreas Matt pipping Switzerland's Conradign Netzer to bronze.
The podium finishers in Sweden remain in the top three spots in the World Cup standings with Schmid on 535 and Delbosco leapfrogging 11 points clear of Matt in second on 377.
Meanwhile, women's World Cup leader Ophelie David edged closer to her seventh consecutive ski cross World Cup title as she scored her second win of the season in Sweden.
The 33-year old disappointed to finish ninth in the sport's Winter Olympic debut in Vancouver but bounced back to lead Canada's Aleisha Cline and Switzerland's Fanny Smith home in the final.
With three races remaining, David leads the World Cup standings on 575 with Olympic champion Ashleigh McIvor second on 457 and Kelsey Serwa third on 332.
