The number two seed struggled early in the match as she lost the opening set, but fought back into the match before blowing her opponent away in a one-sided final set.
"I didn't have a good start," Hantuchova said.
"In the first set I didn't take my opportunities, so from the second set I decided I had to be aggressive.
"I haven't been in a final since three years ago, so I'm excited. I don't have anything to lose, so I'll just give all of myself."
The other semi-final was delayed by rain, and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova will face Anastasija Sevastova on Sunday morning for the right to face Hantuchova in the final.
