Norway's cross-country skiers won a thrilling victory in the men's 4x10km World Cup relay in Lahti.

Sjur Roethe of Norway - 0

The Norway II quartet of Simen Oestensen, Roger Ana Djupvik, Sjur Roethe and Kristian Tettli Rennemo came out on top after a four-way sprint for the line from Norway I, Germany and Russia I, with just half a second splitting the first four finishers.

At the half-way stage the winning team were down in seventh place, but Roethe made up half a minute on the leaders in a storming third leg before Roethe edged compatriot Tord Asle Gjerdalen on leg four.

The win gave Norway their third gold of the weekend, following Marit Bjoergen's victory in Saturday's double pursuit and the Norwegian women's success earlier on Sunday.
