Bristol City midfielder Joe Bryan relished his role in Tuesday night's 3-2 win over Leicester.
The 18-year-old was handed his debut against the Foxes having previously only featured for Bath on loan this season.
"It's been my dream for 10 years, ever since the age of eight, having joined the Academy a year earlier," he told the club's official website.
"I got nervous when the manager told me I was playing, but then I thought, you know it's just another game of football - it's what I train every day to do.
"I just wanted to take it in my stride and not get emotional, thinking it could be the biggest moment of my life.
"It was a really enjoyable experience. I got through it all right, hopefully I did well and to get the three points was even better."
