Lassana Diarra will only consider a move back to the Premier League if he is sold by Real Madrid this summer.

The France midfielder joined the Spanish giants in January 2009 after spells in England with Chelsea, Arsenal and Portsmouth.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, where he would be reunited with manager Harry Redknapp, the man who led Portsmouth to FA Cup success during their time at Fratton Park.

"If I have to leave Madrid then it is only for the Premier League," Diarra told Sky Sports.

"I loved my time there, specially my last year (at Portsmouth) before Madrid, as I won the FA Cup.

"But I am at Real Madrid the greatest club in the world."

Diarra is one of several players set to be shipped out of the Bernabeu this summer as manager Jose Mourinho looks to overhaul his squad to mount a stronger challenge against defending champions Barcelona.

Midfielders Fernando Gago, Pedro Leon and Esteban Granero are all thought to be on their way out, as is defender Ezequiel Garay.

There is also speculation about a potential swap deal which would see playmaker Kaka move to Internazionale in exchange for right-back Maicon, though this is something Inter president Massimo Moratti has denied.
