Bernucci and family banned
Lampre rider Lorenzo Bernucci and three members of his family have been banned from sporting events in Italy.
The Italian Olympic Committee handed out the sanctions following an investigation into doping which saw Bernucci suspended by his team in April last year.
Bernucci has been banned for five years, while his wife, Valentina Borgioli, mother Antonella Rossi and father-in-law Fabrizio Borgioli all got four years.
His brother Alessio Bernucci received a three-year ban after being linked to blood doping by a Padua prosecutor.
The bans prevent the family from any involvement in any sports in Italy.
Bernucci's former Lampre team-mate Alessandro Petacchi is also being investigated by CONI following last year's raid.
Neither rider tested positive - the investigation involved wire taps and testimony - and both maintain their innocence.
