Bundesliga - Balitsch seals Nuremberg move
Nuremberg have completed the free transfer of midfielder Hanno Balitsch from Bundesliga rivals Bayer Leverkusen.
The 31-year-old, who has played once for Germany, agreed a two-and-a-half year deal on Monday and Leverkusen have now confirmed the deal has gone through.
The experienced midfielder has played 284 Bundesliga games, and has already been training with the team.
Baltisch told Nurnberg's official website: "I am happy this has been worked out. I was keen to return to the pitch for some match action not just as a bit-part player."
Leverkusen boss Robin Dutt told Rheinische Post: "We have agreed not to breathe a word about the reasons why Hanno Balitsch was granted a transfer."
