Wilson Palacios has revealed he is using his time at Tottenham as a springboard for a move to Real Madrid.
The Honduran midfielder moved to Spurs in a £12 million deal from Wigan in January 2009 and is now considered one of the best holding players in the Premier League.
Such has been his progress since arriving in England with Birmingham in 2007 he has now set his sights on a transfer to the Spanish giants.
"I am really happy at Tottenham but I will continue working for a future move to a bigger club," Palacios said in The Sun.
"I would love to play for Real Madrid.
"Today, many people respect me in England. That's because of my hard-working attitude."
