Henao takes yellow in Utah
Colombia's Sergio Henao claimed the leader's jersey after winning the prologue of the Tour of Utah at the Olympic Park.
The Gobernacion De Antioquia rider finished the gruelling uphill course in four minutes and five seconds, ahead of Spain's Francisco Mancebo, winner of the race two years ago.
The two-kilometre course boasted an average gradient of seven per cent, running parallel to the Olympic bobsled track.
"It was a big surprise to us and other teams that we won," Henao said.
"It was very short, but very explosive and it's a very difficult course, especially the last kilometre," he added. "The wind and steepness at the top was hard to manage."
The six-day race continues on Wednesday with stage one, a three-lap road race in Ogden City.
