Wasps have denied signing Wales centre Gavin Henson.
The 28-year-old had reportedly agreed to join Wasps on a two-year deal after his stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
But the Aviva Premiership club have issued a brief statement which read: "Further to speculation and inaccurate reports in the media, London Wasps can confirm that no further signings have been made to their 2010/11 squad."
Ospreys, meanwhile, said they would let Henson back into the fold should he with to return after his 18-month self-imposed exile from rugby.
"I can reiterate our position that the door remains open for Gavin to return to the Ospreys," said managing director Mike Cuddy.
"Indeed, we have built our squad in the belief that he would be returning, and both Gavin and his agent confirmed this as recently as the end of July 2010, information I then passed on to our coaching staff. As such, we have had to make some difficult decisions about player recruitment on that basis."
Henson took a break from rugby after a serious of injuries but the break-up of his much-publicised marriage to singer Charlotte Church appeared to take its toll and he failed to show for pre-season last summer.
