Premier League - Paper Round: Tevez interests Real

That is if you believe the Mirror who claim that Jose Mourinho would love to bring the Argentine to the Bernabeu and help Tevez to "escape from his Manchester City nightmare."
However, even the Mirror themselves seem a little bit unsure about their own story by admitting: "a potential January deal could be - scuppered by the size of the fee and the former City skipper’s wage demands.
"City want at least £35 million for Tevez, but the striker will have to overcome the stumbling block of Real being unwilling to meet his wage demands of £250,000-a-week."
Those wages would put Tevez on a £50,000-week more than current top earner – a certain Mr Cristiano Ronaldo.
It would of course be a great move for Tevez as he is so eager to be closer to his family in Argentina. Manchester is almost 7,000 miles from Buenos Aires but Madrid is practically next door at only 6,250 miles.
One place where Tevez is unlikely to go to is wealthy Dubai outfit Al Wasl who are coached by Diego Maradona.
Despite the club's big budget, Maradona admits that Tevez would be too expensive for them.
"Tevez is very expensive and right now we have a budget for around five per cent of the fee he commands," Maradona is quoted as saying in the Sun.
