And this season we're letting you have your say about which goal you think was the pick of the bunch.
So sit back and enjoy the goals (video will start automatically in the picture box - UK only), then click in the box on the right of the homepage to vote for the best strike of the weekend. We'll publish the results of the poll later this week.
The goals, in no particular order, are:
Van Persie scored his 15th and best league goal of a wonderful season to down Everton when converted a stunning volley after 70 minutes. Song spotted the Dutchman making a run into the box and lofted a pass into his path. Van Persie struck the ball in the air, his impeccable technique ensuring his left-footed volley flew in off the inside of the far post.
Two minutes into injury time, Mauro Formica handballed on the edge of the box and Larsson stepped up and bent in an excellent free-kick that rebounded off the inside of the near post and behind Paul Robinson to secure a dream first win for Martin O'Neill
Wayne Rooney (Man United 2nd goal) v Wolves
Rooney scored his second of the game thanks to good work from Antonio Valencia. The Ecuadorian's cross came to the England striker at the far post and he fired a delightful half-volley on the turn that gave Wayne Hennessey no chance of saving it.
David Vaughan (Sunderland) v Blackburn
Adam Henley's defensive header only went as far as Vaughan, and it sat up perfectly for the Wales midfielder to hammer home his first goal for the club with an unerring 20-yard strike that Paul Robinson could only watch as it flew past him.
Victor Moses (Wigan) v West Brom
Moses ended a yearlong goal drought with a sensational strike. The Latics’ striker pounced on a poor clearance from Youssuf Mulumbu in the box, before clipping an exquisite shot in to the top right hand corner, leaving Foster with no chance.
