Ireland too strong for Wales

Brian O'Driscoll celebrated his 100th cap for Ireland by leading the champions to a resounding 27-12 RBS 6 Nations victory over Wales.

Explosive Munster winger Keith Earls did the most damage with a try in each half, while the superb Tomas O'Leary, who was named man of the match, also crossed. Fly-half Jonathan Sexton finished with 12 points, including a drop-goal, but also missed four shots at goal.

Defeat continues a disappointing Six Nations for Wales, who saw Stephen Jones kick four penalties in the penultimate game to be staged at Croke Park.
