Serie A - El Shaarawy 'staying at Milan'
Milan playmaker Stephan El Shaarawy will not be leaving the Rossoneri any time in the near future, according to his agent.
The 19-year-old, who has only started one Serie A match for the defending champions, is reportedly a January transfer window target for Fiorentina.
His reputation was however enhanced during a loan spell at Padova last season, in which he scored seven goals in 25 Serie B appearances.
The agent of the Egyptian-Italian player, Roberto la Florio, denies there is any foundation to talk linking him with a move to the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
"It's all media speculation," La Florio is quoted as saying in Gazzetta dello Sport. "I have not been told by Milan the player will be loaned in January.
"Of course, we are pleased certain teams have shown an interest in Stephan. But I am convinced that Stephan, even though he has not played much in recent months, has acquired a lot of experience from training with great players.
"I know he would prefer to remain at Milan and continue to grow as a player."
El Shaarawy joined Milan from Genoa in the summer, with both clubs holding a 50 per cent stake in the highly-rated teenager.
