Liga - Guardiola denies Villa exit 'lies'

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has rubbished reports he is planning to sell striker David Villa in January, branding the newspaper that printed the story as liars.
Spanish sports daily Marca, which is published in Madrid and leans heavily in favour of Real Madrid in its coverage, claims that the World Cup-winning forward will be allowed to leave in the upcoming transfer window.
Villa has scored just five goals in 15 league appearances this season and has not started any of Barca's three matches in December thus far. The striker who scored a stunning goal in last season's Champions League final victory only came off the bench with six minutes remaining in last weekend's 'Clasico' victory over Real Madrid.
Speaking in Japan ahead of Barca's Club World Cup semi-final against Al Sadd, he said: "Marca lie.
"I have not spoken to David after the last match in Madrid, but all of the players are in my plans.
"I am the one who comes up with 25 different line-ups during the season because I feel that is the best thing to do.
"Most of the players that are here now will continue for the rest of this season and the next.
"I wish I could play with 15 players on a team because then everyone could play."
