Ronnie O'Sullivan faces a tough task if he is to reclaim the World Championship trophy after being handed an exceptionally tough draw at the Crucible.
The Rocket will face dangerous Chinese potter Liang Wenbo in the first round with a potential tie against two-time winner Mark Williams in the second round.
Also in his quarter of the draw are: Mark Selby, Ken Doherty and Stephen Hendry with Selby v Doherty arguably the tie of the round.
Steve Davis, who will play at the Crucible for the 30th time, will face Mark King in the first round and if he wins that he could face defending champion John Higgins in the second round.
There is also one first round match between two former world champions with Peter Ebdon taking on Graeme Dott.
The championship takes place from the 17th April until the 3rd May 2010
