Hackett made his debut in Wycombe's 5-0 win over Hartlepool last month but suffered a groin injury during the defeat at Scunthorpe seven days later which ruled him out of the next two matches.
However, the 29-year-old has now recovered and played the final 10 minutes of the 4-1 victory at Bury on Saturday.
"It is good news," Hackett told Wycombe's official club website. "I have enjoyed it and I want to be part of helping the boys stay safe in League One, that's the aim.
"The manager has made me really welcome, even when I have been injured, and I have bonded well with all of the staff and the boys."
