This is the fifth RWC encounter between these teams, since winning the third place play-off at the 1987 RWC in New Zealand, Wales have lost the ensuing three matches.

If Gethin Jenkins features in this match he will stand alone as Wales’ most capped RWC player with 15 appearances in the history of the tournament.

George North has been the most elusive player at this RWC, beating more defenders (23) than any other player in the tournament.

Alun Wyn Jones (23 including one steal) and Luke Charteris (21 including three steals) have won more lineouts than any other players at this World Cup.

David Pocock has made 41 tackles without missing one so far, only Faletau has made more without missing any.
