Chelsea's tormentor Ezequiel Lavezzi says he could be tempted by the chance of playing in the Premier League or La Liga in future.
The Argentina international, 26, scored twice at Stadio San Paolo on Tuesday night as Napoli defeated Chelsea 3-1 in the first leg of their last-16 clash in the Champions League.
Lavezzi, who signed for Napoli from San Lorenzo in 2007, has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the past and says he is keen to sample new cultures.
"I like the Spanish Liga a lot for the way football is played there, also the Premier League is a very interesting league," Lavezzi told Eurosport in an interview conducted in Naples prior to Tuesday's match.
"They are very competitive leagues and all the players want to play there one day.
"Our job allows us to have these opportunities to know different cultures. For example in my case I don't know how to speak English, (but) one day I would like to learn this language."
Napoli are now in a formidable position to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League in what is their first campaign in Europe's top cup competition since the days of Diego Maradona.
They currently sit sixth in Serie A after coming an impressive third last season and Lavezzi hopes Walter Mazzarri's side continue to show ambition having been a Serie C side as recently as 2006.
"I'm happy of what the team has accomplished so far, but I want a lot more," Lavezzi said.
"The team and the club are very hungry and both the team and the club want to reach the top level in Europe and we do all we can to accomplish that."
