Germany pip hosts in relay
The German men's team won the men's 4x7.5km World Cup relay race in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, to upset hopes of a home victory.
Italy's men came in second after recovering from a weak start to lead the race half-way through the penultimate leg.
But a strong finish from the German quartet was enough to bring them gold in a combined time of one hour 10 minutes 17.2 seconds.
The Italians to settle for silver some 18.6 seconds back, with Norway taking the bronze a further 10 seconds behind.
