Loch takes gold in Altenberg
Olympic champion Felix Loch slid to victory in Altenberg, Germany to register back-to-back World Cup wins.
The 21-year-old, who led a German 1-2-3 in Oberhof last weekend, clocked the fastest first run and finished with an aggregate time of one minute 50.725 seconds after his second outing.
Loch heads to next week's World Championships in Cesena, Italy in fine form and called the race a "successful dress rehearsal".
World Cup leader Armin Zoeggeler of Italy took silver, 0.141 seconds back, while Russia's Albert Demtschenko was 0.190 adrift to complete the podium.
Zoeggeler tops the overall standings on 610 points with two events remaining, with Loch second on 545 and Germany's David Moeller third on 440.
