Malaga boosted their hopes of Champions League football next season with a 4-2 win over Rayo Vallecano at La Rosaleda.
The home side - fresh from a 1-1 draw at Real Madrid on Monday - fell behind to Diego Costa's penalty on five minutes after Jesus Gamez had felled Emiliano Armenteros in the box.

Substitute Duda finished off the visitors with a thumping drive from long range. Malaga draw level with Levante on 44 points and are only three points behind third-placed Valencia.
There was also a comfortable 3-0 win for Sevilla at relegation-threatened Racing Santander with Manu (52, 90+4) scoring twice after Jesus Navas (34) had opened the scoring.
Racing remain third bottom of the table with Papa Diop sent off for a tackle from behind on Piotr Trachowski.
