Leadbitter banned for Town

Grant Leadbitter will miss Ipswich's trip to Watford due to suspension.

The in-form midfielder was given his marching orders for a second bookable offence late on in Wednesday's narrow 1-0 victory over Burnley and will now serve a one-match ban at Vicarage Road.

Leadbitter's absence could mean a possible recall for Andy Drury, who dropped to the bench in midweek as Lee Bowyer came in for what was manager Paul Jewell's only change to his starting XI.

Jewell, who is expected to otherwise boast a full-strength squad, does have plenty of options however.

Ryan Stevenson still awaits his first start for Town since his January move, Josh Carson was back among the substitutes against Burnley while Jimmy Bullard continues to get more training under his belt following his return from a two-week club suspension.
