Millwall are set to rename The Den's main west stand in a tribute to their late defender Barry Kitchener.
The stand, which houses the family enclosure, press box and executive seats, will be known as `The Barry Kitchener Stand' in honour of a player who made over 500 appearances for the Lions.
After Kitchener passed away in March, chairman John Berylson proposed the name change to the board.
He told the club's official website: "I think this was probably one of the easiest decisions the board have had to make.
"It was a unanimous decision, not just among the directors, but also the fans and everyone associated with the club that Barry should be remembered in this way.
"He was a great man as well as a great player and his name will forever remain synonymous with that of Millwall."
