Andrew Taylor has insisted Cardiff are still on course for a place in the npower Championship play-offs, despite recording their third successive draw at Birmingham on Sunday.
Cardiff captain Mark Hudson cancelled out Erik Huseklepp's opener for the hosts to leave the Bluebirds eighth in the table with seven games left to play.
But the Welsh side are level on points with the sixth-placed Blues and full-back Taylor has urged his team-mates to give 100 per cent as they bid to extend their season into mid-May.
He told Wales Online: "Results elsewhere are keeping everybody in contention, but now we need to kick on. We are looking solid at the back and dangerous going forward by creating chances.
"It's really tight in the chase for play-off places and there are six, seven or more teams who will feel they have a great chance. We are one of those and we are determined to take the remaining games, starting with Millwall, by the scruff of the neck.
"We have to stay confident and there are signs that we are getting back to the way we were playing earlier this season. Now we have to kick on from here and take this chance."
