Formation 4-4-2

GK: Petr Cech (Chelsea) - Expert 8, Users 7.7 - Manuel Neuer and Iker Casillas deserve a mention for their penalty shoot-out efforts 24 hours later but Cech was simply immense at Camp Nou.

RB: Jose Bosingwa (Chelsea) - Expert 8, Users 6.6 - Came on as an early substitute after Gary Cahill was forced off through injury and barely put a foot wrong.

CB: Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea) - Expert 9, Users 7 - Moved into the middle following John Terry's dismissal but the change - and the lack of a recognised central defensive partner - did not faze him.

CB: Jerome Boateng (Bayern Munich) - Expert 7, Users 5.9 - Cristiano Ronaldo may have scored twice for Real Madrid, but Boateng did enough at the back to keep alive his team's hopes.

LB: Ashley Cole (Chelsea) - Expert 9, Users 6.9 - An exceptional performance from the England left-back who seemed to be in the right place at the right time throughout.

RM: Arjen Robben (Bayern Munich) - Expert 7, Users 7.1 - The Dutchman kept his cool when it mattered most in Madrid, slotting home a penalty to send the tie to extra-time.

CM: Frank Lampard (Chelsea) - Expert 9, Users 7.2 - Played the all-important through pass to Ramires for Chelsea's goal and laid on two other great chances for Ivanovic and Salomon Kalou.

CM: Raul Meireles (Chelsea) - Expert 8, Users 6.7 - Another tireless display from the Portuguese, who put everything on the line - including his right to appear in the final - for his team.

LM: Ramires (Chelsea) - Expert 9, Users 7.8 - The midfielder's brave performance epitomised Chelsea's efforts in a memorable triumph with a fine goal to go with it.

FW: Fernando Torres (Chelsea) - Expert 8, Users 8.4 - The Spaniard only came on for the final 10 minutes, but he made his mark by rounding the keeper in the dying seconds, proving he still has a touch of class.

FW: Didier Drogba (Chelsea) - Expert 8, Users 7.6 - How Barca must despise playing against the Ivorian. Was a nuisance all night long for the Catalan side.
