Premier League - Emerton helps Rovers to victory

It wasn't enough for Blackpool though, Brett Emerton restoring the away side's lead at the death, firing low past Gilks in the third minute of added time.
Fifteen minutes later disaster struck for Blackpool and in particular their talismanic captain Adam.
With no Blackburn player near him, Adam attempted to direct the ball back towards his own goalkeeper. He got his header all wrong, and Matt Gilks could only watch as the ball bounced past him and into the back of the net.
The away side wasted numerous chances to put the match beyond their opposition, the impressive Diouf crossing for youngster Phil Jones to force an excellent save out of Gilks, and with five minutes left, they were made to rue their missed opportunities.
Pedersen lost possession in midfield to former Wycombe Wanderers winger Matthew Phillips. The debutant dribbled unopposed into the Blackburn box and fired a fierce low drive past a despairing Paul Robinson.
The goal lifted Blackpool and it looked like they might be able to force a winner in added time, but it was Rovers who found a decisive second goal.
After a scramble in the Blackpool penalty area the ball eventually broke to Emerton. The Australian composed himself before smashing a crisply struck low shot into the corner of Gilks's goal to seal a derby-day success for Sam Allardyce's men.Tom McGowan / Eurosport
