Steve Evans hopes there is still plenty of life in Rotherham's summer recruitment drive.
Having already secured the services of Daniel Nardiello, Ian Sharps, Nicky Hunt and Scott Shearer since the end of the season, Evans remains intent on signing up to five more reinforcements across a number of positions while also hoping to retain the services of star forward Lewis Grabban.
Evans' former club Crawley remain interested in the 24-year-old, who netted 21 goals in all competitions this season.
"We are in talks with a number of players," the Millers boss told the Sheffield Star. "We are still four or five away from the squad we want.
"As a minimum, we need a left-back, a central midfield player, possibly two, and a winger.
"It would also be great if we could add another striker, but if Lewis stays we would not need to think about that given the quality that lad has."
