Which famous person would you like to meet?

Nelson Mandela. He's just a top guy.

Whom would you most like to mouth off at?

(Pauses) Errr... (concentrates) Errr... (looks lost) Errr... No one I can think of!

What was your most embarrassing moment?

In snooker? I was playing Stephen Hendry in a semi-final in Thailand and thought it was best of 11 frames - semi-finals usually are. At 4-4 I came back from the toilet and broke off and won the frame to go 5-4 up. I was getting ready to sit down ahead of the next frame and Stephen came over to offer his hand – it was best of nine! He could tell, too.

What would you never eat?

Sheep's eyes. They have them in Asia, don't they?

Like in Indiana Jones?

How long do you need in the morning to get ready?

I get up early with the kids all the time so it doesn't bother me. No time at all.

What is on your iPod?

Coldplay. Oasis. All sorts. Rihanna. UB40. Beatles. Very varied.

Which single item would you take to a remote island?

My iPod, probably!

What three things do you most cherish?

My wife, the kids and the fact that I've been able to play snooker for a living for the past 20 years. I'd like to carry on and play the game till I'm 50, like Steve Davis.

What word do you overuse the most?

There isn't one.

What would you like to achieve in your life?

Win the World Championship.

Does snooker need sexing up?

A little bit. It's nice to play with six reds (Snooker Super 6s), it's a little quicker. I've played that in Thailand and I know they play it in the Asian Games. It'd be nice to see it on the tour, and maybe they could bring the doubles back, you know, to give it a little bit of variety.
