Lotto-Belisol give youth a chance in India
Lotto-Belisol have opted for a mix of youth and experience in their squad for the Tour de India at the end of January.
The newly-formed WorldTour team will contest the three-leg race in Pune, Delhi and Mumbai on January 22, 26 and 29.
Team leader Kenny Dehaes will head up the squad, supported by newcomer Mehdi Sohrabi from Iran.
Completing the team are Sander Cordeel, Frederique Robert, Tosh Van der Sande (pictured) and Jonas Vangenechten, who will be given a chance to shine.
"We are giving our young talented riders the chance to prove themselves on the highest level," team boss Marc Sergeant told Sporza.
"It's up to us now to make the step a successful one. We want our young talent to have the opportunity to ride for themselves and gain experience in international competitions from a selected continental calendar."
