Hull caretaker-manager Nick Barmby was critical of his team for making "silly mistakes" following their 2-1 defeat at Southampton
Robert Koren headed the Tigers into the lead just before half-time, but two goals in the space of seven minutes early in the second period from Guly Do Prado and Adam Lallana turned the game on its head.
Barmby said: "It's frustrating. We have to eradicate the silly mistakes. We're nearly there and we will get there.
"We need to work on some areas and have to iron out the mistakes. For 80 minutes I thought we played well, but we were undone by 10 minutes of lack of concentration."
Hull substitute Robbie Brady was shown a straight red card in the 79th minute for a foul on Dan Harding.
Barmby added: "I don't think it was a sending-off. I've had a look at it again and I do not agree with the decision."
